Free clothes – donation for kids and women in Akumalam area

The Free Clothing program provides clothes for children, women and sports equipments to low-income families and individuals. Over 100 kg (ca. 5 boxes each 20kg) donations from friends and partners were donated last February 2013 to the akumalam kids and women. Sport equipments were donated to schools and individuals.
Difficult to estimate the yearly spending on clothing a growing child; but this program relieves some families. For most parents struggling to pay school fees, pay rents, health costs and other critical bills, a clothing budget may be non-existent.
Donating clothes is not an ideal solution to improve the standards of living, but if the donations are directed directly to the needy and it remains FREE – then we can improve the well-being of many families.
Most of the clothes donated in Europe are being sold in many African and east European markets!! Please stop donating without knowing the final destination!
